7 Sports Development Foundation is an entity formed in 2014 to facilitate the humanitarian work of 7 Sports Management Solutions (registered in 2002) anchored around social cohesion, social change, facilitation of local economic development and sustainability through sports.
Through its sister organisation, 7 Sports & Management Solutions, the entity is the host of the popular annual Jab-Jabu 7-a-Side Soccer Challenge which was started in the year 2001. The games which attracts participants from Gauteng Province and its neighbouring Provinces facilitates social cohesion, build entrepreneurial skills and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The target market for the games hosted by the Foundation is the youth and adult market (15 to 60 years). The foundation delivers its work through through 7 a Side games played across various age categories (Under 11, 13, 15, 17, Open Section and Masters/ Veterans 33 and above age categories), ranging from various sporting codes.
